Our Full English Breakfast
We are keen to be a B&B involved in serving a "Sussex Breakfast", an initiative that is being encouraged by Netherfield College, part of Plumpton Agricultural College, to get as much of the food served from local sources thereby supporting local farmers and businesses, and helping towards animal welfare as they are not transported as far.
We have recently sourced an excellent supply of sausages and bacon from a local farm, (Egypt Farm, Rushlake Green 01435-830734).
We have just tried this produce out on some guests who mentioned the quality of both without knowing about this. Eggs come from our own hens, as will our tomatoes (just waiting for them to grow!).
B&B - Packed Lunches and Evening Meals
Although there are plenty of places to eat locally to our b&b, we can also arrange for packed lunches to be made up, and/or a 3 course evening meal to be served if required.
These can be eaten either indoors or al fresco depending on the weather!
A packed lunch is ideal if you just wish to go for a wander around the footpaths local to our property.
